I recently discovered that Amelia was a family name - that pushed Emilia higher in the naming stakes, then I checked the 100 most popular name list for England and Wales - Emily is in the top 5 and Amelia in the top 25 - that puts me off Emilia a little.
I still really, really like Clara - but no-one else seems that keen.
Alice, Matilda and Joanna are also still on the list.
To some extent it doesn't matter - she's bound to object to whatever I choose at some stage! But I wish I had a name I could use - and I've seen the most fabulous initial cushions and bunting for her room - but I have to know what she's called before I can buy them!!
