I was in MY school this morning (before M and C's Nativity this afternoon).
I bumped into a couple of mothers who have children in last year / next term's class. Apparently they only found out about my return (to teach their children) last night - I wasn't sure if the rumour mill was working (apparently not, for once!) Anyway they both remarked on how well I was looking (clothes hide a multitude of sins - particularly ironic after yesterday's visitor to the doctor!) and how delighted they and their children were. They were so enthusiastic and welcoming, it was lovely.
