She also used the rocking chair that I bought for Clara. I love spending time with them both - particularly to enjoy A's small babyhood (while also thinking of Clara in China). We had a nice lunch and a good chat - it was great. A got to try out some of the bits I bought for Clara - they worked and it's lovely to see a baby using them.
And the sadness? While I have absolutely no problem with other people's children using the things I've bought for Clara - the sadness comes at the thought of how long I've had these things, how long they've been empty and when wondering how many more months they will continue to be empty.
[A note about the photo - this took several minutes to take a simple photo - as soon as I sat down with the camera I was surrounded by Cavaliers and at least 1 of them managed to be in shot at all time. I eventually managed to get a dog-free photo, or so I thought! Fusspot won the battle!]
