It's been a good day. It started poorly - builders postponed for ANOTHER week, but they did send details of a prefabricated chimney (so there'd be no need for a chimney stack and less space used in the sitting room - soon to be a playroom).
Then I went to lunch with the lovely D and her baby A - who I hope will be a friend of Clara's. I'm trying to particularly enjoy A's small babyhood as I will miss that part with Clara. After that I went to Waitrose and discovered the unperfumed washing liquid and fabric conditioner - more of that in other posts.
When I got home I tried to order a rocking chair from Cotswold Collection. I tried to order it yesterday online, but it failed without giving me an error message. It's a white rocking chair for the nursery, originally £200, reduced to £119 with £25 large package delivery fee. On the phone today it cost £99 with £5 delivery - even cheaper!!
I'm sure that there was something else good about today but I can't remember what. I did get several niggly jobs completed - papers in the post to the accountant and a parcel delivered to W's mum.

The other really good bit of today was a parcel from Neal's Yard. It contained 4 items but the 4th was not what I had ordered, rang them and explained - result - they're sending the right item and I get to keep the other one (which I had deliberated about buying when I ordered the other one!)
Please can every day be like today - and one day very soon include a referral? Pleeeeaaaaaassssssseeeeeeeee???????? x
