Aaaarrggghhh!!!!!!!!
I spent yesterday constantly refreshing the Rumour Queen's site [some people are sceptical about her site, but as a UK adopter (i.e. no agencies to give us the official line quickly) she's a God-send] but to no avail, no definite news. Not her fault - there's just uncertainty all around the world as to the next cutoff date.
The last cutoff date was the 8th September. The 27th sounds good but isn't as the days covered are relatively 'light' application days and would represent a reduction in the amount of referrals. The 29th is a huge application day and would make this month's referrals bigger than they've done for a while.
So far the news is that people in Europe (unlikely to be the UK - we seem to hear after most of the rest of the world) have received referrals up to the 27th - but no one knows if the 29th have missed the cutoff, or if those agencies who have received referrals haven't got any 29th LIDs. There is no one from the 29th saying their agency has got referrals but they haven't received a referral.
Today will bring clarification - so keep everything crossed for the 29th - the further they go the shorter the wait for those of us still in the queue!
