Thursday was the worst day. I have a 7 mile drive to school, I got there without a problem, but getting home was more of a challenge! 2 large Oak trees had fallen across my route home - I can usually get home in about 12 minutes, on Thursday it took me over 30 minutes to get home!
The worst tree fall was this one:
This is one of our local nursery schools. The oak fell during their morning session while they were in the building - the children were frightened but unhurt.
Luckily at school we didn't have any problems with trees - just water - our amphitheatre stage was more like an island!
