I went back to school today.
My baptism of fire included playground duty and staff meeting! It was super to see the children again (my class is the same children as last year - but this year we are bottom Juniors instead of top Infants!) I taught a Literacy lesson about New Year's Resolutions and a History lesson about the reason for the Roman invasion of Britain.
Despite a sleepless night last night, I had a lovely day today and I'm looking forward to tomorrow!
