. . . they're strangers as I couldn't pick them out in a crowd, yet they're friends too as we have shared our adoption journey.
Referrals are coming in the US, the 13th of October is included and we know that the 18th isn't - but the actual cut-off date isn't clear yet (this could be crucial as to whether or not I received my referral next month.) My DTC group is lit up with messages about referrals - I can't read them without crying - just the thought of what those new families is experiencing is enough to set me crying - happy tears but lots of them!

UPDATE - the 17th isn't included, still hoping for the 14th - every day could make the difference!
