HOW IT WILL HAPPEN

I might know later today whether or not the 1st November 2005 (my date in the queue) has made it into this batch of referrals.

Thank Heavens for the internet - as that's how I will find out! I keep watching the Rumour Queen and my DTC Yahoo Group. Once an agency has begun to tell their clients who receive referrals, someone will post on one of the groups or the RQ and then the cutoff date will emerge from the rumours.

Once I know the cutoff and if I'm included I will email the Dfes and BLAS (a tracking service in China) and ask if I'm included and for details of my child!

Initially I will know a name, their date of birth and where in China they are. Then I can email BLAS again (with these details) and they will send me the English translation of their medical report.

Then I have to wait for the Dfes to process the official papers - that took over 2 weeks last month. When I receive the official papers I will finally have a photo! These papers have to be processed ASAP - to get the official acceptance back to China as quickly as possible to trigger even more paperwork!
