DECISIONS ABOUT CHINA BLOGGING

I leave for China in 3 weeks. I don't normally post travel plans before I leave home, but as the house will still be occupied (a very good friend is staying and dog sitting) I don't think it matters too much, anyway, as soon as I leave home it will be obvious on the blog!

3 weeks. Wow.

I'm finishing work in 2 weeks - that's 6 more days at work, though the children and parents haven't been told yet. I can't wait to show them photos of Whatshername and tell them about her, explain why we studied China last year, etc.

I'm going to use this blog while I'm away, for 2 reasons:

• because I'm so grateful to all of those who've already been to China on their own adoption journeys who blogged about it, helping to inform my decisions and to keep me sane during the incredibly long wait,
• and, more personally, for my Godmother - who isn't sufficiently techie to gain a blogger login and view the private blog! I love you M. x

You may notices some changes while I'm away. I know that I can't view the blog while I'm away, so my buddy C (think Autumn bike rides!) will also have access privileges (just in case!)
