Yesterday Alice was off-colour, grouchy, tired, interesting nappies - you get the picture. Today started in a similar way - grouchy and tired. As yesterday she was tired by 11am, so she had early lunch - cheese in her fingers, pasta and a bite of fromage frais, then she vomited EVERYWHERE - all over her and the highchair, luckily she missed me and the floor. So I put her to bed after clearing up and then giving her a bottle. She only had a shortish nap, another bottle, a stretch examining the inside of her cot while resting (i.e. refusing to sleep), some play and then tea. Tea went without incident, except that she was very keen to eat, I'll spare you the details of the toxic nappy before bathtime!
So, yet again, our plans changed part-way through the day. We didn't go to Symonds Yat, we didn't go swimming and tomorrow we won't get to see a friend who is recooperating from an op ;-(
Get well S. x

i hope she feels better soon .
Poor Alice - hope she feels better soon. Talk to your GP or Health Visitor, they usually recommend starving (ie only water!) a vomitting/diarhea-ing child, can't remember how long for one Alice's age though. Its absolutely soul destroying and horrible, but it gets the bug out of their system a lot quicker! I'm having to do it for Little Prince tomorrow as he's been sick today too :-(
Big hugs to both of you
Lots of love
Janet
