LINKS WITH THE CHINESE COMMUNITY

I know that there's a group in Cardiff that meets on the first Saturday of each month, but I don't know where or exactly when - please let me know the details if you know!

Also I'd love to know of other events in the South Wales, Bristol or Hereford areas that are linked to Chinese communities or culture.

Comments please!

Hi Kate,

My parents own Wai Yee Hong Chinese Supermarket in Bristol. We have a lot of links with the Chinese associations and community. One of which is the Overseas Chinese Association, which runs a Chinese school, although I imagine that there is one closer to you.
You can see more details of festivals and events that we are celebrating in store from our website in the news and community sections.
Alice may even want to get involved with the chinese lion dancing troupes etc when she gets older. Finally, in case you didn't already know, the Yunnan region in China is very well known for pu-erh tea. This is a very fine tea that is drunk and traded like the very finest vintage wines.

Best wishes to you all.
Jo
