Hello Kate,
I'm the reader from Alexandria, Virginia. Because my cousin was awaiting her referral I was reading lots of adoption blogs. I stumbled on you in China with Alice. Her little face just tickled me!
Thank you for sharing the book list. I'll be consulting it often to find gifts for my little Chinese cousin Katie age 2 and my grandsons ages 2 and 4.
Best wishes for a speedy referral of little sis!

Hi Kate
Saw your post late but just wanted to add:
Walking through the Jungle - Lacome
We're going on a bear hunt - Rosen
Room on the broom - Donaldson
The following do not have repetitive phrases but we found very interactive at a similar age:
Meg and Mog - Nicoll
Each peach pear plum - Ahlberg
Round is a mooncake/Red is a dragon - Thong

Good luck with getting the paperwork done for Thailand!
