Interestingly the previous post got quite a lot of feedback - mostly through direct email so it won't be reflected by the number of blog comments. But as people are obviously interested I thought that I'd better continue with my findings!
I went to a different pushchair shop (popped in after haircut - as it's just up the road from the hairdresser's) and got some very different opinions.
In their opinion(in red!):
Cameleon - overpriced, wouldn't consider it.
Quinny Buzz - fantastic, demonstrated well, there is an underseat storage bag in with the price but also a separate low hanging basket (like most pushchairs) available. My verdict - it's still worth considering but I'm still concerned that the seat reclines but that the angle of the back doesn't change relative to the seat. Still don't like the fact that the seat unit has to be removed to collapse the frame.
Mutsy - extremely bulky and heavy - they stopped stocking it. My verdict - haven't found a shop that will recommend it, yet, but will keep asking about it - it's a probable no!
Bebecar Rversus - they didn't mention it and knew little about it when I asked - they did have one in store but kept having to ask other staff members or refer to brochure - is that because it's new or unpopular - I wonder?
So the search continues - I've learnt that each one needs to be demonstrated by a competant member of staff and tried by me! I've also learnt that not every shop knows enough about all the products in stock to make comparisons.
