My camera has died.
It was a Canon Ixus 400. It was 3 years old and had taken nearly 12,000 (according to the way it organised folders) photos. I kept it in my handbag and used it regularly. Until now it's been extremely reliable and easy to use. I used it to take photos at home and school and also to take the occasional piece of video. The only negatives were that it took a long time to take a photo after pressing the button and it was slow to recover between photos.
Now I need a new camera, quite quickly. I'd happily have another Ixus and they have updated them. Before I go out looking I'd like you to share your experiences and recommendations, please.
I've asked for opinions before - and get very little feedback, so remember - YOUR BLOGGER NEEDS YOU!

Don't forget that you could buy a combined video & still camera.
We should discuss.
