MORE INSPIRATION

As you can tell - yesterday was a busy day!

I went to a Christmas party, it was our regional CACH Christmas party (C A CH is a charity for Children Adopted from CHina).

There must have been 20 or so Chinese children - lots of beautiful girls and 1 handsome boy, ranging in age from 15 months (home for 4 months) to over 10.

I didn't know many people, I had met the co-ordinator and 1 mum and her daughter at the the last event, so I was a little nervous. Then I was overwhelmed, all those lovely children and happy families having fun, it was a very emotional moment for me - hoping that next year I would be there again but this time as a Mum. I wasn't on my own for long, they were very friendly and I meet lots of kind people - some of whom I think will become good friends.

It was liberating to be with other people who understand the process and the emotions without explanation (that's not meant to be an insult to others). Emotional and inspirational. A great afternoon, I did feel a member of the group and they certainly made me welcome, but I want to take my daughter next time . . . pppppplllllllleeeeeeeaaaaaaaasssssssssseeeeeeeee.
