So C and I went cot shopping - I was fancying the Stokke Sleepi, I now want a drop sided cot bed in white - not an easy combination to find. Mothercare stock them but don't have them on display whereas John Lewis don't even have such a thing!
Whilst we were out we went to Mamas and Papas - to look at cots, nothing suitable there. Then I made a fatal mistake and asked about pushchairs. M and P do now do a pushchair that the handlebar flips over to make it rear facing, the Skoot.
C was very impressed with it, I'm not as sure.
The plus points:
- extremely easy to collapse and put up - one handed,
- seat faces both ways, simply
- seat reclines
- large shopping basket
- fairly small when collapsed and light enough to lift
- the chassy (sp?) is white and plasticy,
- the fabric colours are hideous - this dark neutral or a darker colour, both plain
- the harness is only attached at the sides - so the child can sit forward, so the straps are long and may tangle easily?
- when the seat is rear facing the small, maneuverable wheels are at the rear.
