While waiting for referral I have been enjoying the young babyhood of a D's daughter - knowing that this is the bit I won't get to do with my own.
Today we met up for coffee - even though I did spend 10 minutes sitting alone in the wrong coffee shop! Coffee turned into lunch and then we went for a stroll around A'g. From a distance I spotted a friend and without thinking I waved to her - only to see a very shocked response. Then I realised her train of thought - I was the one pushing the buggy and being such a cold day only A's face was visible!!
We had a good giggle and it made my day - the confidence of others can be a real encouragement during the seemingly endless wait.
