(Well, I never claimed that I'd catch up in order!)
On Thursday morning we met up with D and A to go swimming in Pontypool - where they have a bath temperature family pool. A is just over a month older than Alice and has been swimming numerous times. Alice had never been before. They both had great fun, much to their mummies' delight (of is it mummys'?)
Alice looked fab in a red costume with white polka dots and a ballerina frill. She had great fun in the baby float - kicking her legs, totally laid back, when out of the float she had even more fun splashing up a storm. She loved it!!
So, now I've ordered a baby wet-suit type of costume - so that we can go back to my sports club (no individual charge, easy to use lockers, playpen in the changing room etc) where the water is decidedly chillier!!
