I met up with D, D and baby A at a local pub. We had a lovely lunch (not hard at the moment, someone else cooks - lovely!) The pub was very busy and the girls were very good, so it was a great lunch.
D's been scheming, double buggy = 1 Mummy free to move away (think shopping!) so she's borrowed a friend's and we took it out for a test drive! (Not sure that I'd be smiling in Alice's position in the 1st photo, sorry D - I couldn't resist!!) We took them out for a walk, the girls enjoyed it but were far enough apart that they could look but not reach. The buggy worked well until we reached the narrow pavements, overall a success and a really enjoyable day.
They met Alice when we'd only been home a few days, today we were talking about how she's changed in just over 4 weeks. They think she's grown (NO, she's not going to grow up yet!), more confident (still observant but more settled and relaxed) and less wobbly. They're right.
