Today we went into A'g to meet GMA and her girls (M and C), then we walked to their local park (used to be mine too as we were neighbours until Mum died).

There was a steam rally at the park. Alice was INSISTENT that they were trains!

The girls went on a roundabout - which this year Alice adored (having loathed most of the ones we saw in France last summer), then C and Alice went on the swing roundabout before they all tried the hook a penguin stall - each one chose a different cuddly toy, Alice chose a shimmering white unicorn. Then we stopped for some lunch before strolling on some more around the model and craft tents. After that we stopped for ice cream (photos in a different post).

Then we went into town, bought Alice a princess ball and strolled up the high street before stopping at a grassy patch to have a play and test the new ball. GMA sat in the shade and gossiped while the girls ran and giggled.

A lovely day out with special friends, super weather too.
