Last night Alice spent her first full night in her Big Girl's Bed. She requested the BGB but had an unsettled evening and quite a few tears, I spent nearly 60 minutes with her after I'd put her to bed for the first time.
Tonight, with glee, she requested the BGB and then demanded, 'Mummy, lie down!' and patted the bed. I suspect that having a long cuddle with me after I've turned the light out has a bigger appeal than the actual bed, but as she's shown very little interest in moving from her cot I don't mind the motivation as it's the end result that matters!!
