- Alice is wriggling round my bed and sleeping fitfully.
- There's a cricket in my wardrobe.
- I keep expecting the intruders to return.
- My mind is racing.
- I'm sad that Little Sis is so many years away.

Hmmm, let's see. What do I do for insomnia? Well, for starters, I read your blog!!! ;oD
For me, the relaxing techniques don't generally work because like you, I get insomnia when I have lots on my mind. So, I tend to use the time to 'do' stuff, or write, or be creative. Something that feeds my soul. Though putting a few drops of lavender and/or chamomile oil in a diffuser often calms me down enough to drift off again eventually.
It's not surprising your sleep is a bit disrupted with all that's on your mind. Like we said yesterday, I've no doubt Alice's sleeping pattern is a phase, but I do understand the angst that comes along with your own sleep being disturbed.
'This too shall pass' - hopefully that little mantra will help keep things in perspective.
Thinking of you and hoping that you have a few good nights sleep this week.

No answer to your question, but thinking of you - hope you're not too tired today!
